*Type:* Hybrid Dendrobium Orchid
*Growth:* Sympodial
*Best for:* Home gardens, orchid collections, balconies and nursery cultivation

## ☀️ Care Guide

*1. Light*

* Provide *bright, filtered light*.
* Morning sunlight is beneficial.
* Protect from strong afternoon sun, especially during very hot weather.
* Pale green leaves generally indicate good light; very dark green foliage can indicate insufficient light.

*2. Temperature*

* Ideal: approximately *18–32°C*.
* Good ventilation is important in warm weather.
* Protect the plant from extreme heat and cold.

*3. Watering*

* Water thoroughly when the growing medium is becoming dry.
* During hot weather, watering may be more frequent.
* Avoid keeping the roots continuously wet.
* Allow excess water to drain completely.

*4. Humidity*

* Around *50–70% humidity* is generally suitable.
* Good air circulation is essential, particularly in humid conditions.

*5. Potting Medium*
Use a *well-draining orchid mix*, such as:

* Medium-grade bark
* Coco chips
* Charcoal
* Perlite or other aerating material

Avoid ordinary garden soil because it can retain too much moisture around the roots.

*6. Fertilizer*

* During active growth, use a *balanced orchid fertilizer* at the manufacturer’s recommended dilution.
* Fertilize regularly but avoid over-fertilizing.
* Watering with plain water periodically can help prevent fertilizer-salt buildup in the medium.

*7. Repotting*

* Repot when the potting medium starts breaking down or the plant has outgrown its container.
* Ideally repot when new roots are beginning to develop.
* Use a pot with good drainage.

🐛 Common Pests & Problems

Thrips are tiny insects that can damage *young leaves and flower buds*, causing distorted growth, silvery/scarred areas or poor-quality flowers.

*Prevention:*

* Keep the growing area clean.
* Provide good air circulation.
* Inspect new plants before placing them with your collection.
* Remove badly affected flowers or plant material where appropriate.

*Management:*
