Air Plants, botanically known as Tillandsia, are unique epiphytic plants from the Bromeliaceae family. Native to Central & South America, Mexico, and the southern United States, these fascinating plants grow without soil, absorbing water and nutrients directly from the air through specialized leaf structures called trichomes.

🌱 Growth Habit

Air plants naturally attach themselves to trees, rocks, and driftwood. Their roots are used only for anchoring, not for nutrient uptake. They range in size from miniature species (2–3 cm) to large, sculptural forms (up to 1 meter) depending on the variety.
