Air plants, botanically known as Tillandsia, are unique, soil-free plants belonging to the Bromeliaceae family. Native to Central & South America, Mexico, and the southern United States, they naturally grow attached to trees, rocks, and cliffs, absorbing water and nutrients directly from the air.
